As a Pacific Northwest native, I find myself with a life long passion for the arts and the outdoors. Aside from my passion to create, and the strong bonds with both my wonderful husband and two amazing sons, nature is often where I find balance and centering for my life.
It was my privilege to be highlighted as Featured Artist at a new medical facility in Olympia, Washington as well as Featured Artist at the 2016 Mountain Bird Festival (MBF) held in Ashland, Oregon. MBF is a festival I have taken part in since it’s beginning and I believe strongly in their conservation efforts for wildlife and it’s habitat.
Most of my recent work have been mainly oils and watercolor, although I have been turning my sites towards encaustic mixed with oils. I have had my hand in my camera bag for well over twenty years; finally starting my own business in 2010.
My love of birds started with my grandfather, and I consider the mountains of the Pacific Northwest my childhood home. I relish the freshness of an early morning meadow, savor the intricacies found in a single drop of dew, and humbled by the din of a thousand Snow Geese taking flight. When you purchase one of my wildlife or landscape works, know that you are taking an artistic piece of nature to appreciate and explore. Life is a journey to savor and share.
